Director, Sales

Position Summary

We are joined by some of the best investors and advisors in the market backing ThreatMate to ensure it will be the category winner. We are looking for an experienced sales leader to join the team and propel our growth. You’ll be an MVP on a fast growing team. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role where you’ll not only guide the sales team but also work directly with them to close high-value deals, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen our position in the cybersecurity market. In this startup environment, your leadership will be pivotal in shaping the sales function from the ground up. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of passionate, driven professionals, all committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in cybersecurity. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth across inbound, outbound, and enterprise accounts.

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team that aligns with company goals and culture. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to ensure team success.

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring that the team hits both top-line revenue goals and customer acquisition targets. Monitor KPIs, track progress, and optimize sales performance.

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, customer needs, and product feedback.

  • Refine and implement efficient sales processes to streamline lead qualification, deal cycles, and post-sale follow-up.

  • Inspire and motivate the team with a clear, compelling vision for growth. Lead by example in managing key accounts and securing strategic partnerships.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences, strengthening the company’s presence in the marketplace and support lead generation. 

  • Regularly report on sales activity, key insights, and progress against goals. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably within SaaS, MSP, or tech industries.

  • A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and building high-performing teams that deliver results.

  • You have the vision to set long-term strategies but are also comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Experienced in building, scaling, and coaching a successful sales team while fostering a collaborative, high-energy culture.

  • You use data and insights to drive decisions and continuously improve sales performance.

  • A strong communicator and natural relationship builder, with the ability to work across teams and with senior stakeholders.

  • A focus on delivering value to customers, ensuring long-term success both during and after the sales cycle.

  • The willingness and ability to travel within North America (and occasionally internationally) to attend key events, conferences, and meetings.

Business Development Rep

You’ll work closely with Account Executives and sales leaders, connecting with prospective clients (especially MSPs) and setting the stage for major deals. This isn’t just a job — it’s a launchpad for your career in sales.

 

As we establish and build an office in Tampa, FL, this role will be in-person.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Reach out to potential clients through lead lists, cold calls and personalized emails, making that first connection count.

  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into real sales opportunities.

  • Understand the unique challenges of each prospect and show them exactly how we can help.

  • Your outreach will fuel the sales pipeline and directly contribute to our company’s growth.

  • Book meetings and calls between prospective clients and Account Executives to move deals forward.

Account Executive

Remote Position

Job Description

The Account Executive role is a key member of our Revenue team, responsible for sourcing, qualifying, closing, and later upselling both inbound and outbound leads. An average day will be a mix of client-facing demos, responding to prospective clients on email, phone, and chat, researching and reaching out to prospective clients, and helping to refine our sales process further. You will help shape the our sales organization by training up new sales team members including other account executives and business development representatives. This role is a great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-growing industry at an exciting and dynamic startup.

What you'll do:

Meet and/or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals by:
● Conducting proactive outreach to outbound target accounts
● Attending targeted events to find new leads
● Qualifying leads by understanding and consulting with them on their MSP business model
● Conduct product demos to prospective companies
● Closing inbound and outbound opportunities
● Answer inquiries from prospective clients 
● Work closely with the marketing and product teams 
● Participate in the development and implementation of sales processes
● Provide regular reporting on sales activity and progress towards goals

Who you are:

● 5+ years of sales experience in selling SaaS solutions to IT Managed Service Providers
● Start-up experience and comfortable wearing many hats
